"Justin Geller" Director-Producer Jon Rehr and actor Paul DiChellis (top right photo) along with members of the production crew were on hand to receive the audience's appreciation along with Philadelphia Independent Film Awards (PIFA) and The Film Collective founder Floyd Marshall.

"Summon" Director Madison Calicchia (not pictured) and "Mila & Mimi Too" lead actress Malinda  Logan (bottom right photo, left) were also on hand.

Romance sparks between a street musician and a refugee woman in the film short "May THE END OF THE WORLD Catch You DANCING." The film screens Friday, Oct. 5 at South Street Cinema. Admission is FREE.

Brighten your Friday night with FREE indie films

The Philadelphia Independent Film Awards' new film screening series The Film Collective holds its debut screening Friday, Oct. 5, 8 pm, at the South Street Cinema this week.

Designed to showcase the work of independent film makers, the event is open to the public and FREE. Visit our Film Collective page for more details.
